In this Ted Talk Paul Piff talks about the how people act when they feel wealthy VS. when they are poor. He talks about if people feel wealthy they feel like they are entitled to more things. In the book The Great Gatsby Tom and Daisy have all the things that they could want and they want more, they are not satisfied with what they have. Tom is having an affair with Myrtle, Daisy is starting to like Gatsby and they always want more. In the ted talk he had random people play a game of Monopoly where one person started with more money and two dice instead of one. The people that were selected to have more money, they bragged more often. The study also had a bowl of pretzels on the table to see what the players felt they deserved. The person that had more money ate more pretzels then the person with less money. I don't know why people with more money think that they are more entitled to things than everyone else.
