This Ted Talk is about the different morals between conservatives and liberals. In the play 12 Angry Men there were differences in the moral thoughts of the jurors about the guilt of the boy who was accused of killing his father. In the video he talks about the 5 initial morals that you are born with and that they can be molded or changed around when you are young. Where you live can effect the way in which your morals are developed,on average if you were born in the south then you would be more conservative and if you were born in the north you would be more liberal. In the beginning of 12 Angry Men there are the first initial two sides the people who think he did it and the side who think that he didn't do it. The people on each side do not stay the same, by the end there is only one juror that still thinks that the boy killed his father. In the video Jonathan said that liberals are more open minded and want change, where conservatives want to stay the same and be loyal to their views. All but one of the jurors opened their ears and decided that they were wrong and changed over to the right side. Did these people change their mind because of which side of the political system they are on? I do not think so because I believe that no matter what side you are on you are able to change your mind if you think that something else is the right thing.
